Six people of an Asian nationality and a citizen has been arrested for charges related to prostitution in the Muscat governorate. ROP said the defendants are charged with detaining three Asian women who were forced prostitution in exchange for cash at one of the apartments in Muscat. The defendants were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the legal proceedings.
In a separate case, the Buraimi police foiled an attempt by two Asian nationals trying to smuggle in to two people in their truck to the Sultanate.
